Unable to create folder...Access is denied

I have a share on a server that includes an install routine. When the
clients run the install it is supposed to create a new folder to hold their
individual settings and records. Even if I set the security to Full for the
group something is blocking the creation of the directory. As the
administrator I can create the directories if I am at the server, but cannot
when logged on from the workstation.

I have some group policies setup for control of the desktop etc., but cannot
find anything within them that would prevent creation of a directory on the
    server.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Dave H

  2. Check the "Share" permissions, not NTFS permissions.

  3. In order to achieve that, you will need to grant user Write permission to
share and Modify permission via Security tab.
