    Hi,
I posted this on microsoft.public.windows.xp.general with no luck, so
    I'll try here:

When I attempt to do a search on a network share (either mapped or UNC)
that is on a different site, I get a message saying, "Search is complete.
There are no results to display".
There are clearly files here, and when I search the same share from my
Windows 2000 clients, it does find the files.

Here are some facts that I've found while troubleshooting:
    ----------------------------------------------------------
I do have all rights to view these files.
I can search network shares within our local AD site (within our local
    network).
The same thing happens from all Windows XP clients.
I can search the same shares using Win2k clients and it works perfectly.
The same thing happens when I search AD different sites
I searched Microsoft's Kb, but did not find any indication of a bug (or
    fixes)
