    Hi,
Anyone can help with the error message below when i tries to start the
Windows Time service on a Windows Server 2003 server?

Could not start the Windows Time service on Local Computer.
Error 1792: An attempt was made to logon, but the network logon service was
    not started.

I can confirm the netlogon service is up and running.
    Thank you.

    You'll be fine.

It took me a few hours of Google to finally come back to roost in the
    Microsoft KB.

This article will help, whether you upgraded to SP1/higher and (where
Windows Time is then run by LOCAL SERVICE), or if you "hardened" your system
service permissions so that the Windows Time service account no longer has
"Full" permissions to NETLOGON, this article will help you.

    (My misadventure was the latter).

    Happy fixin'!!
