Undeletable message in my Outbox prevents any further sending

After one or two successes, Windows Mail refused to send a message
(incidentally addressed to my own @windowslive account for testing purposes).
The mail got sent alright, but some skeleton of it remains in my Windows Mail
outbox and can not be deleted (Unknown Error), displayed (Unknown Error),
moved, or resent (all Unknown Error). What`s worse, I haven't been able to
send any further mails through this accounts SMPT server, where as I can send
mails from a different SMPT server which I configured in another user`s
    profile.

Is my provider to blame? Can a call to him fix it? Or is there a way I can
somehow "manually" get rid of the broken message which I suspect is causing
    all the problems??

Help for a vista newbie (and by no means convert, so far...) is greatly
    appreciated!

    Hello Charmi,

This will help show you how to fix the stuck undeletable email message
problem in Windows Mail for all folders.

Installing the KB941090 update will just fix the problem for now. You
must stop the cause to prevent it from happening again. Read the section
titled "FIRST" in this tutorial about antivirus and other security
programs to help prevent this from happening again, then install the
KB941090 Microsoft Update in the section titled "SECOND" to fix and be
able to delete the stuck message from the problem folder.
