I have a number of various machines running Vista and Windows 7 and each and everyone in various offices have stopped connecting to our network with the error unidentified network 'local access'. This has occured after a windows update and all were connected to our network prior to our windows update (about 1-2 wks ago). All of our offices are running 1811W Cisco routers and all routers have current firmware.

I have attempted all 'fixes' found on the interent including the registry edits (from Microsoft KB), disabling IPv6, etc. Once Static IP is set all is well, but there are laptops that go from location to location with different IP tables and it is cumbersome to support end users and helping them set static IP addresses at each location they travel.

Also down grading to XP also works. But we are not wanting to do this at this time.

    Thanks, Mike Jones
