    here's my problem:
i installed windows live messenger 2009, 2 days ago i decided to updared it
to the latest build. so i did but when trying to sign in i always seemed to
    be getting the same error.
so i uninstalled it and then when i tried to install it again but i couldn't
.. as it was saying that it's already installed

i tried Zapmessenger (i left it for 10h) but nothing happened
i tried http://messenger.jonathankay.com/ installation stand alone packs
(about 4) and still nothing happened
i tried removing it with 4 scripts from ur admins called:
    Windows Live Messenger DeepClean
    but still nothing

and finally when i try installing it with the all stand alone (~134MB) i get
    these errors:

plz plz I'm desperate! what should i do? :(

  2. Greetings,

It really sounds like the Windows Installer configuration data is broken on your machine.

If you'd like to send me an e-mail, I'll do my best to assist you one-on-one. If you would
rather prefer a quick fix, you might consider a System Restore in Windows to restore your
system back to the previous version of Messenger. In Windows XP, this can be found by
clicking Start, then "Help & Support" and then "Undo changes to my computer using System
