Can any one tell me how to uninstall the programs that come with a new
computer that are for the most part unwanted like additional online services
and the like. I can not find a way of uninstalling them and they are not in
the list of ones that can be uninstalled.

  2. Many of the items that come with a new computer are not installed yet. They
place a link to the installer on the desktop hoping you will click on it. If
this is the case, just follow the link to the containing folder and delete
the folder. Then delete the desktop link.

Do this as a last resort if there is no uninstall entry, either in the
containing folder or in the uninstall or change a program area of
    "Computer".
