Of course, you just outed yourself there, murphy, since nobody else
randomly posts that meaningless string of three letters from time to

What does your classic unsubstantiated and erroneous claim have to do
with Windows Vista, murphy? The figure most sources agree upon for a
maximum reasonable .sig length is four lines, murphy.

NaN> however the RFC is prefaced with "SHOULD" not "MUST"

That only means that a longer .sig is not an error at the technical

Tony threw a leg over in:
most skipped it, just as Millennium and XP-SP1 and XPSP-2 were
skipped by the wise. when Windows does fill my vuhole it
is XP-SP3 off that Hirens CD. loaded once with an image backup,
ran with no "malware checks" behind a hard FW there
has never been a problem with the install, and i sandbox it
would not know, never seen it.
same goes for Win7 and Win8, i wait for the day MS erects
something that works...or gets booted from the whole scene.

Microsoft's software works well enough to continue to have a majority of
desktop market share, murphy, though it does have numerous
well-documented problems including security holes. Of course, without
network effects and lock-in they would probably have lost that majority
    by now.
