    Hi,

Would it give sysadmins an easier life if we upgrade our 2003r2 servers
    to 2008?

I think of better tools to track down problems and better monitoring ...
    or what...?

    Jake,
swtiching to the new OS platform typically involves some learning curve - so
I'm not sure to what extent "easier" applies here. But if performance and
reliability are your primary objectives, then you might want to review the
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc771692.aspx and determine
    whether this meets your expectations...

  3. Hello Jake,

What does easier mean? New OS have allways new options and needs more time
for learning all of that. So what problem do you like handle more easier
with new OS versions? Maybe you check the new features and see if they can
    help you for your needs.

    Best regards
