    Hi Group,

I am looking for directions, instructions on how to upgrade from the
    standard version of exchange
on SBS 2003 R2 to Exchange Enterprise. Also has anyone done this before and
    if so, what was your
    outcome.

    Thanks,
    Ron

  2. You will need to apply the Transition Pack to take you to standard servers
    licensing and then Update.
Alternatively, Install Exchange Enterprise on a member server, Transfer
Mailboxes and Uninstall Exchange on the SBServer.

    - note though that if you do this you'll break the SBS "Wizards"

( I don't know if you can do Exch Ent as a back-end server to the SBS Exch
Std, but that's probably a scenario you don't want anyway )

Why do you want to go Exch Ent ?
( you do realise that with Exch 2003 SP1 the Datastore has been upped to
    75GB don't you ..)

You are correct. In doing some extra reading I finally ran across that
    point.
    Thanks for heads up anyway.
