    I need to upgrade a server with Windows Server 2003 standard to Windows
    Server 2003 Enterprise. I have searched extensively for the "how to" on this
    subject. Can anyone help?

    Thanks,

  2. A format and reinstall using the proper CD is required.

    AFAIK there is no "upgrade" between any two versions of Win 2k, unlike XP
    where you can upgrade the home version to the professional version.

  3. Sam;
    Normally insert the CD at the Desktop and follow the prompts to upgrade from
    Standard to Enterprise.

    Standard to Enterprise is a supported upgrade path:

    2K3 Standard to Enterprise is a supported upgrade. 2K Server to
    Advanced was not. The only other 2K3 SKU you can upgrade is SBS to
    Standard.

  5. My mistake,
    For what ever reason I thought he was talking about Win 2k.
