    Hi,
I would like to upgrade my SBServer 2003 Standard to Premium. I would like
to do the upgrade in place.
I have started the upgrade but stopped when i got to the screen stating
"Windows Configuration, You must configure the operating system to proceed
with the installation. This will take approximately 30 minutes".
I don't want to lose my current configuration.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Neal...

  2. Hi Neal

The only Disk you need to upgrade is the Premium Technologies CD. Read the
Install instructions on the root of that CD. You do not need to reconfigure
your system except that if you only have one NIC you need to install a
second NIC for ISA and configure like the Diagram at
    http://www.smallbizserver.net/tabid.../Two-Nics-a-static-IP-address-ISA-router.aspx
after reading the install instructions on the Premium CD insert CD and
follow the setup. Be sure that the Service pack level is the same. ie if
your Premium set is with SP1 your Standard installation must be brought to
    SP1 first.
