  3. I have a problem at my site when trying to do the upgrade.
My server runs Windows 2003 Standard with SP1. I have upgraded hardware to
8GB RAM and now to support this extra RAM i need to upgrade to Enterprise

When I put in the Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition with SP1 and select either
Check Compatibility or Install i get the following message:

"The option to upgrade will not be available at this time because setup was
unable to load the file D:\I386\WINNTUPG\NETUPGRD.DLL. The system cannot find
    the file specified."

I have checked that the files is there. I have tried to copy the CD contents
    to the hard-drive. Nothing helps.

How do I do an upgrade from Windows 2003 Standard to the Enterprise version
    to support my extra memory?

    Thanks in advance.

  5. Hi

    Thanks for the response.

Both the 2003 Standard and Enterprise versions are from the volume licensing
    Are they considered OEM products?

I allready tried with the mentioned workaround from Windows XP in article
Q315349, but it will not install from the copied content on the hard-disk
    either, unfortunately...
