URGENT windows update error Ox800A138F msn error 0x80004005

i cannot enter to msn messenger error 0x80004005 and when
I scan for update on window 98 it goes to 100 %, but
then gives the error above, and says it cannot complete.
Can anyone help? Thanks a lot.

I am having the same error message running windows xp
home edition. I think the update server may have a
problem.
