URL becomes unusable

Discussion in 'Internet Explorer' started by Andre De Clercq, Feb 28, 2008.

  1. I used the link http://www.benl.ebay.be for quite some time. Since yesterday
it became unuseable on my two networked PC's. My IE7 just keeps "waiting for
response". The only way I can access this URL is through http://www.ebay.be,
followed be the language select "Nederlands". All other URLs om my PC's work
flawlessly, even all other eBay related URL's. I already did a system
restore with no result. Yesterday, probably before the problem happened
there was a windows (XP) update, I also ran Spyware Doctor which was shut
down after use. Thanks for any advise

    Hi Andre,

Check which default language is set in IE. Tools>Internet Options - General
tab, Languages button. The default language is the one at the top of the
    list.

I can load the site with no problems (with German displayed) with English-us
as my language. It looks like they are not detecting your language
preferences in the browser (or have not coded for Dutch). Try English,
German or French as your default language setting in IE.

    Regards.
