used to burn cds until friend used roxio

    I have burned many cds using Media Player until a friend
    used Roxio to burn some data info. Now I get the
    message "No device detected Press F5 to refresh."
    I liked the simplicity of using Media Player Copy Music
    to CD. Do I have to give up and use a different type? If
    so what is simple? Thanks so much for any advice.
