If I look at a user account properties obtained through ldifde, there is the
UserAccountControl attribute. This will contain a value of some sort. .
..what do the various values mean? Is there a chart somewhere that gives the
    values and what they mean?

Thanks for that information. It was helpful; however, there was a value
that I am seeing on some user accounts that was not in the list. How can I
find out what the useraccountcontrol: 514 value means?

  4. Queries as specific as yours can often be resolved by google, I pasted
your text verbatim and found the answer.;en-us;Q305144

Note that attributes such as userAccountControl (enumeration) are
treated like binary triggers or switches, each bit is assigned a
particular feature, if the bit is 1 the feature is on, if not it is off.
The value 514 is comprised of 2 bits, the 2 and the 512 ... determine
their meaning and you have your answer. In this case they equate to -
