Using the gui, I cannot see the domain root dfs-XXXX, however using the
dfsutil domain view command I see, but cannot determine which server hosts
the domain root. I appreciate any feedback

  2. Some customers report success using the following KB:

HOW TO: Force Deletion of DFS Configuration Information

    224384

    http://support.microsoft.com/?id=224384

I'm also pasting in a thread below from another newsgroup customer who tried
this article and had to do some extra tweaks. The original post title was
"Cannot delete a namespace (R2)" and it was published on June 1st if you
    want to search for it.

    Hope this helps!
