Using Page Viewer Web Part on companyweb

    Hello SBS'ers
Since installing and using GFI FAXmaker 10 on sbs2k3 I found a way around
the dead Incoming Faxes link (native MSFax). I modified the shared companyweb
page and added a Page Viewer Web Part linked to the storage directory of
incoming faxes. However I would like to find a way to be able to view the
folder contents in a detail view. For some reason it defaults to Large Icon
view on each page refresh. I have tried Customize this folder in the rclick
dialog context menu on the pageview. I already have the folder views on the
server itself default folder view to details, and also my client. I still see
no way of enabling details as a default view. Is it even possible? It would
be nice to see as the faxes are logged & notified via OL2k3 by time and if 2
faxes are received within moments of each other I could look at the file
timestamp to know (extrapolate) the CSID information.

If there is a known way to setup FAXmaker reporting to the native incoming
faxes documents root with Sharepoint Svcs a.k.a companyweb, I would be
appreciative. As far as I can tell (with the native version it saves them to
via http:// format and FAXmaker uses UNC format. (is there a way to convert
the http:// format to UNC in sharepoint?

    thanks much.

  2. Most of us don't have the combo of Faxmaker AND SBS. I think you did
pretty good with what you did. You might want to post on GFI's forum.

It took a little searching other questions posted on the forum to come up
with that solution, albeit an incomplete solution. I would still like to
integrate it further if possible. If MS Native fax handled PDF's I probably
would have upgraded to Office 2k3 on all clients, but it was still cheaper to
purchase FAXmaker and continue using only the upgraded OL2k3 instead of
having to buy seperate Office components. Which FAXmaker BTW handles PDF's as
    it happens

    my 2 cents,
