    Hello.

I have a question about Proxy Auto-Configuration (*.PAC) files that are
downloaded and used from Web servers or from local HDD. I understand
that it can change Web browsers' network proxy settings (with the URL)
    to go through another server.

    After reading
    http://homepages.tesco.net/J.deBoynePollard/FGA/web-browser-auto-proxy-configuration.html
and many other documents, it seems like there is no way to do the same
for network devices (onboard network adapeter). Is there a way to do
that with for system-wide proxy setup beside the Web browsers? I might
be missing something since I am new to this network proxy area.

    Thank you in advance. :)
