  1. Dear All,

I am trying to use USMT to migrate local user profile settings on Windows
XP machines on new clients (Windows XP SP2) which are not working at a
    domain anymore.

That means that the user does not longer log on the domain but only on the
local client (notebook user). The clients themselves are also not a domain
member. My problem ist now that I can save the /userstate but when I try to
import the formerly saved settings on the newly installed client it (USMT
/loadstate) says that my user "DOMAIN\PeterseS" is skipped an was not found
    locally on the client.

The User is set up on the client with "localclient\Stefan Petersen" but the
domain user is named "DOMAIN\PeterseS". May this be the problem? Can I solve
this by any switch? /mu or /md haven't worked for me... :-(

    Any help appreciated!

  3. Vincent,

there is no way to transfer the data from one account to another account on
a second machine with a different name, is this right? If not, what tool may
I use to complete such a task?

    Best Regards
