When watching videos on websites like BBC news, if they are long they cut
out and the circular update thing comes on. I do not have the same trouble
with Chrome. Is it a shortage of cache and if so how do I change it? If
    not, then what?

    Hi,
If running IE8 or IE9, try clearing the cache completely.
Be sure to uncheck the box "Preserve favorites website data" on the Delete
    Browsing History screen.

A larger cache will probably not help. Anything over 250MB is rarely
necessary. Set that from Internet Options> General> Browsing History>
    Settings.

    Work through this article.
