Virtual machine additions won't install

  1. Yeah, I wonder too, at times. Could be a nice way to show the kids just how far
we've come since they were born. They'd probably get a kick out of it. Then, there
are times when I'd like to pull out my old Windows 1.0 disks, too, but I'm not sure
I still have a functional 5.25 drive. Ah well... Sometimes nostalgia's better left
as a mental exercise, huh? :)

No time sync with DOS additions.
The S3 Trio driver for Win3.x is available on my site...been there for
    years ;-)

They are also available again directly from S3graphics.

  3. As in "net time"? This'll sound ignorant, but does that ever really matter?
"Google is your friend...", "Google is your friend...", "Google is your friend..."

    Thanks! :)

If you're running a legacy DOS app that needs to have accurate time,
it does matter and there's no really good solution.

  5. I guess I'll have to google a bit. Only thing I can imagine would be someone
running 24/7, or something. Seems like it'd take time for, er, time slippage. But
then, I'm just a developer who's accustomed to blowing stuff up and starting over.
