    Hi,

I just bought an Lenovo ThinkPad T60 with Centrino Duo with 1 GB RAM. The
main reason why I bought it was to improve the speed of my virtual machines.

How ever the virtual machines start very slow, much slower as on my three
year old T40 with also 1 GB RAM. Also the host system has very week
performance when the vm is running, althoug the task manager show only 50 %
CPU utilization. In addition the applications in the vm run slowly and tend
    to crash.

Is there a fix for the hardware or VPC available? I've run the system update
from Lenovo including the latest BIOS update.

Thanks in advance for any hint
    Chris

Yes, there are 2 fixes for notebooks. One is included with the free
2004SP1 download. The other is a hotfix you need to get from MS.
    The numbers for both are:
    KB899525
    KB889677
