I did a clean install of Vista Business. After I start IE and want to close
it down (by clicking on the red sqare in the top RH corner) an error message
appears: "Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close". (it tries
to find a solution, but it hangs there for 15 minutes without a solution and
without knowing what has caused the problem). Eventally I have to stop the
    program manually
This happened after I dl and installed the various Vista upgrades. This has
never happened in XP prof and at present after 3 clean installs of Vista. I
am fed up trying to get Vista to work and consequently use good old XP prof
    again.
I have posted my problem in a Vista newsgroup where a "Microsoft expert"
said he did not know the answer but I should try this forum.
Any help will be very much appreciated.
