Vista IE7, favorites keep getting auto-organized?

    Hello,

It is extremely annoying that IE7 thinks it knows how I want my favorites
    organized!

Every once in awhile, my Favorites list in IE7 (Vista x64) keep getting
organized in alphabetical order, despite me NEVER asking it to do so.

Is there a way to turn this "feature" (read: really friggin annoying
    function) off?

It is extremely annoying, not to mention rediculous that MS thinks they
know what I want, without asking me.

Right click anywhere on your favorites list, on the popup menu uncheck sort
    by name.

Well, Actually the option is there, however it hasn't been checked for quite
some time (I thought that might fix it as well, but made no difference).

The problem mostly seems to happen when I either add a new favorite, or
    reboot.
However, I have not been able to pin down the exact sequence when the
    problem
    occurs.

    Any suggestions/help is apreciated,

From what data I can find on the net, XP does automatically alphabetise, the
issue may be coming from your start menu/favorites, if you add, remove, move
    from there,
    Good Luck
