Vista refuses to create a Msdos startup disk

    FWIW, when said disk is booted and you type VER, it shows that it is Windows
    Millenium [Version 4.90.3000].

    So ME lives on. Sorta.....

    Hello, I had this problem too, but I figured out how fix it. When yo
    turn the floppy disk over, it looks like this. [image

    See the blue circle I drew. That is the write protect button. If it i
    open, it is write protected. Just move it ALL the way over to turn i
    off. When you are finished, and you dont want anyone to make an
    modifications, just move it back
