    Hi,
I'm desperately trying to uninstall the RC of the Service Pack 1.

Unfortunately, the uninstall process loops endlessly: I receive the
error message "Service Pack did not uninstall. Reverting Changes." and
then the PC reboots, showing the same error message mentioned above.

    Any ideas?

    SP1 is a beta...(though a late beta...it still has not been officially
    realeased)

The only way to install SP1 is to have first done a full system backup.

If you did not do that...might as well backup your data now and re-install.

If you reinstall without formatting the drive...your data should still be
    there...
    but back it up anyway
