I started getting random shutdowns for no reason. I finally was able to\nnarrow down the problem to the automatic system backup I had going on and can\nduplicate this problem on demand. If I create a manual system restore point\non my system (C:) drive and attempt to restart the system, I will have to\nreboot repeatedly until I get to the screen that tells me the system cannot\nstart and attempts to repair the system. At that point I am back to the\npoint I was before the system backup. I have no system backup because every\ntime I try to create one, the system will no longer boot up until I do the\nsystem repair. I have tried to find a solution to this problem and haven't\nseen anything like this. My guess, some sort of virus that my stuff isn't\npicking up. But it's been happening for three months now and it doesn't make\nsense. Except I can duplicate the problem on demand. What's your guess?
