VPC 2004 crashed consistently...and so does VPC 2007

    I had VPC 2004 installed and it worked for awhile, then started crashing...I
    would start the program, the console window would appear, and if I moved my
    mouse into the console window I would get an error message stating: MS VPC
    encountered an error and needs to close.

    So, I'd close it and reopen and boom, same thing. I uninstalled 2004 and
    reinstalled, to no avail.

    Same thing still happens with 2004 uninstalled and 2007 installed in it's
    place.

    Any ideas here? Any known software conflicts with VPC?

    HELP??

    Could be a driver issue, a BIOS issue, or faulty or failing hardware,
    like RAM.

    Try video card and NIC drivers. Those are the things that will most
    commonly have bugs that will crash VPC.

    I can take a wild guess for Mouse driver. What sort of mouse you have?
