VPC guests lock up on shutdown

Anyone seeing Virtual PC RTM guest images lock up on
closing? For example when shutting down the VPC it locks
up before merging changes (if asked to do so).

This only occurs on my home PC which is running an AMD
Athlon XP 2800 processor. The same virtual images run
(and shutdown) perfectly on my Intel machines.

Mike i'm running an athlon 2700 and dont have that
problem. BUT it seems very slkow to shut down and most
of the Virtual machines seem very slow while on my 2.4 p$
they run much better. Sounds like microsoft has to fine
tune this for the amd processor

    Scott,

I asked the question elsewhere. Someone responded that
Virtual PC works fine on their Athlon XP2400 PC. He was
running on an Nforce2 Epox motherboard. Mine is the ASUS
A7N8X Deluxe. Do you know which motherboard you're
    running?

    Thanks,
    mike
