VPN error 812

    Hello,

    I've seen this issue posted before but I've never seen the resolution. When
    I try to connect to my company's VPN I get an error 812, not able to verify
    the user. What is the work around? Thanks much...

  2. In many cases, VPN error 812 is permission issue or MS-CHAPv2 issue. Can you
    try another user like administrator? For the troubleshooting change
    MS-CHAPv2 to the MS-CHAPv1. This link may help too. Please post back with

    Hi Folk

    I have this issue with one of our clients, and to resolve this issue,
    changed the permission withing AD to allow dial in access, this resolve
    the issue right awa

    rabron... Brilliant! Thanks for taking the time to post that. Righ
    clicked on the user account, clicked over to the Dial-in tab and clicke
    "Allow" under "Network Access Permission". Bada-bing... bada boom.

    Just ended my growing headache. Thanks! :
