    Hi

    Hope you can help

I've set-up some programmes to record during the night. I put the PC to sleep and it wakes up OK to record the programme, however when I get up in the morning the PC is still on - How to I get it to go back to sleep after recording the programme

    Thank

    Andy

You need to configure your power management
settings so that your PC automatically goes
to sleep (standby or hibernate) after a
    specified period of inactivity.

I have a similar problem, my laptop wakes up to DL the guide but cannot go back to sleep, because when it wakes up, it gets stuck at the windows user log-in screen. The powermanagament doesn't work until you are logged in, therefore my system stays on all night.
