Hi, I am testing a policy that sets the wallpaper to be \\server\share\company_logo.bmp from a share and have tested it successfully. The option in the Display properties cannot be changed by the user, so, so far, so good. However, about 50% of our users still have access to the registry (this will change but it takes a while to remove permissions off users -it can get a bit political). If you change the path in the registry it will change the wallpaper. However, what I can't work out is that I thought that when the Group Policy updates, then the path \\server\share\company_logo.bmp should be reapplied and the user will once again have the wallpaper that the GPO specifies. This isn't happening though. Once changed in the registry the wallpaper seems to stay. Any ideas? Thanks
