Web usage reports not displayed in Server Usage Report

My SBS server started off in a 1 NIC configuration using a local router as
    its gateway.

The business owner really wanted the Web usage reports however so I changed
the server to run in 2 NIC configuration. The server is working perfectly in
this role and the clients are using the Server's Internal NIC as their
    gateway.

I have re-run the setup monitoring and reporting wizard and I have waited a
few weeks to see if the web usage is added onto the server report with no
    luck so far.

    Does anyone have any suggestions

  2. First have you run CEICW all the way through? With No errors
    And Check if it's there.

    Next
Have you tried Removing and Reinstalling Just the Monitoring Service?

  3. Hi Paul,

Thanks for using the SBS newsgroup. Also thanks for Russ's input.

From your description, I understand the issue is that the web usage reports
can not be shown in server usage report. If I am off base, please don't
    hesitate to let me know.

Yes, you understanding are correct. When you use a router to access the
Internet, usage information for Internet activity will not be included in
the server usage report. Because Windows Small Business Server 2003 is
unable to monitor firewall statistics for third-party devices.

After you installed the second network adapter on the SBS server box, you
should re-run Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard to enable the
Routing and Remote Access service as the firewall on the server.

It is recommended that you refer to the following article to get more
    information about the wizard:
825763 How to configure Internet access in Windows Small Business Server
    2003
    http://support.microsoft.com/?id=825763

Then please re-run the Monitoring Configuration Wizard to configure server
    usage report as you needed.

*Please note that after we run the Monitoring Configuration Wizard to reset
performance and usage settings, the original performance and usage data
will be removed. The server will start to collect new counter value from
the beginning. It will take more than 24 hours so that the report can be
    generated.

After that time, please check if you can view the web usage reports.

    More information:
    ================
The usage information for internet activity contained in the server usage
    report includes the following information:

-- Internet Activity Web Activity by Computer.
The total and average daily hours a client computer was connected to the
    Internet during the reporting period.

    --Web Traffic by Hour.
The total and average daily number of connections made by all client
computers, by hour, during the reporting period.

Hope above information helps. Please let me know if you have further
question on the issue. I am happy to be of assistance to you and look
    forward to your reply.

    Have a nice day!

    Sincerely,

    Jenny Wu
