    Hello,

After installing the new Windows Genuine Advantage Notification Patch
KB905474 v1.7.17.0, I noticed a file in my Temp folder titled:

    WGAErrLog.txt

It keeps reappearing whenever I log into my account or reboot after deleting.

I receive no errors or notifications regarding Windows Validation at the
    Event Viewer.

I ran the Microsoft online validation tool, it validates without any problems.

That WGAErrLog contains the following :

    D446F964-508-80004005_D446F964-441-80004005_D446F964-508-80004005_D446F964-441-80004005_6AA6ADEF-541-80004005_D446F964-508-80004005_D446F964-475-80004005_6AA6ADEF-560-80004005_D446F964-508-80004005_D446F964-441-80004005_6AA6ADEF-573-80004005_D446F964-508-

This is a copy of the latest entries for WgaNotify.log located at
    %SystemDrive%\WINDOWS folder :

    - Windows Genuine Advantage Notification KB905474 v1.5.530.0 used to work
perfectly without showing any of these error logs, why do these logs keep on
    showing up ?

    Thank You,

    Hi Ahmed,

I've got the exact same error installing Windows Server 2003 SP2 on a SBS
2003 system. Did you get any answers on this request?

    Greets,

    Guus
