I had to reinstall Windows98. The log of updates did not
change. Are all the updates I made to windows
automatically reinstalled if I reinstall Windows98?

If anyone knows please email me. If anyone from Microsoft
reads these postings please tell me why it was impossible
to email you directly through passport.

I tried to send an email to Microsoft through passport and
the ID that I cut and pasted from System Dialog is not
supported in the United States. What's up with that?

I could not send a general email to Microsoft. What's up
    with that?

Microsoft is not listed among the manufacturers in their
own support list. They gift telephone numbers of over 100
other companies and not their own. What's up with that?

    Malcom,

You have to reinstall all the updates again. They are not retained or
    reinstalled.

Learn to personalize the update site so that you may have the updates on
hand in case of another reinstall.

As for your other questions, there's no guarantee that MS will see your
