What is difference between WMA8 and WMA9

    Hi there

    This is Prakash, Can anybody tell me the feature difference between WMA8 and WMA9.

  2. None. Exact same format since WMA2. However the encoder has
    been optimized and quality is better. WMA9 now supports more
    encoding parameters like VBR, multi-channels, lossless and a
    mode optimized for voice. Of course, those new settings are
    not backward-compatible.

  4. Note that V9 has a better motion algorithm so it uses more CPU.
