    Hello!
I've been looking all over for the file con2prt.exe (part of ZAK or W2K Res
Kit), but all Microsoft links are invalid that used to point to it. Can
someone send me this file or send me a URL link or FTP server link where I
    can download it from?

  2. I typed

    "con2prt.exe" download

into the Google search box and got more than 700 hits.

I didn't find it either and doubt that it is online since by using these
sets of Google searches it is not found:

    [ con2prt.exe -recommended ]
    [ con2prt.exe -recommended download ]
    [ con2prt -recommended download site:microsoft.com ]

And a few more that mostly returned either nothing or only 2-3
German language sites which didn't have it either.

The idea was to get rid of pages pointing to that obviously dead
    "download/RECOMMENDED" link.

Everytime I found an alternative link (to the "recommended" URL)
it seems to go to the GENERIC "VISTA" page.

Someone would have to have a CDRom copy of the NT4 resource
kit (if I understand correctly) and give the file to you.

    Dear Hayman,

Thank you for the URL link, I WAS able to download it from there!
Furthermore, I also found another very useful command line tool there:
ifmember.exe that I have also been looking for for a long time:
    http://www.paulmcgrath.net/download.php?list.2

Everybody else, who responded to my question, thank you very much for all
    your input!
    GL.
