    Hello All,

I have tried, without success, to install free Quicktime player. Vista gave
me a message about Visual basic not being installed. I need this program to
run the mini movies I record with my Kodak digital camera.
I have only had my new PC for 2 weeks, it has Vista Home Premium. My old PC
ran Win2000 PRO. I'm trying to learn this new system.

    Thanx for any help, GGmom

Great advice! I got it and it installed with No Problem. I can now watch my
3yr old granddaughter dig holes in my back yard.

Thank you S2ie and all of you so much!

Think about what you just typed.
    Quicktime is incompatible with Vista.
Yet you tell him to download itunes, as it HAS Qiucktime.
Why did not you just leave it as free-codecs?
