Where would disk errors be reported under Vista?

I've a Sony laptop with a 120 GB SATA drive. I normally use this under
Solaris x86, not Vista. Solaris reports problems with the disk during
boot, and logs these (see below if interested). Where would such errors
be logged in Vista? I intend booting Vista to see if it finds any disk
problems, but I'm not 100% sure where in the n-million logs Vista keeps
would I find such errors logged.
