Who could tell me what difference between the gif and jpg file?

    I find that the pictures are often the gif and jpg file format,I want to
    know what difference between them.thank you very much.

    Hello, this question is off-topic here.

    Anyways, the difference between GIF and JPEG is mainly on the compression
    method used.
    JPEG is optimized for complex images, while GIF is used for simpler, 256
    colors graphic with transparency for animations.
