Why can't I run NTBACKUP as a scheduled task?

I have a problem with trying to run NTBACKUP on a W2K server where I want to
backup the contents of a directory on another server in the domain. Both
servers are member servers. The userid used is an administrator userid with
full access. If I create the NTBACKUP job and run it immediately, it works.
However, if I set it as a scheduled job, it will run and in a few seconds,
end. The log under Scheduled Tasks shows no errors and I can't see any in
the Event Logs. The directory is on a network drive that is active and
    persistent.

If I do the exact same thing on a workstation, it works just fine.... It is
    driving me nuts!!

  2. Have a look at the ntbackup logs. You'll find them buried deep
in the "Documents and Settings" directory as backupxx.log.
