Why does this site think I have Outlook 2003? I have 2002.

  1. When I go to do updates online, Microsoft thinks I have Outlook 2003. Before
I realized it, I ok'd the update and it screwed up my Outlook. I had to put
the original disc in so it could repair it. This computer came with a trial
version of 2003, but I thought I deleted it when I installed 2002. Now, I
can't figure out how to let the Microsoft online know I have a different
    version. Can anyone help?
    thanks,
    nicole

    ...This computer
    Windows version?

Is Outlook 2003 (still) listed in Add/Remove Programs?

    ~Robear:

My PC at work and at home does the same thing when going to office updates.
Outlook is not installed and has never been installed on either machine. I
just keep telling it not to install.

  4. Do you have any components of Microsoft Office 2003?
If so that may be the cause.
