Why Doesn't Vista Have The "Repair" folder (like XP did)

    Anyone know why Vista does not have the following folder:

    Windows XP had this folder.

    As it did Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0 and prior versions of Windows NT.
    The repair functionality of that folder was obsoleted so it is no longer
    Even in Windows XP most of the original functionality was removed, it
    remained for only a limited setup of functionality.
    What functionality from Windows XP are you looking for the requires the
    c:\windows\repair that is missing in Windows VIsta?
