Why "No digital siganature" warns a nameless driver?

Discussion in 'Windows Vista Drivers' started by Jianguo Zhang, Dec 21, 2003.

  1. Dear all,

I developed a filter IM driver (including two INF files )and was going to install it. I wrote a installer, which calls SetupCopyOEMInf() function twice to copy the two INF files to Inf directory. During copying the 2nd INF file(virtual miniport INF), Windows XP warns that the driver hasnot been digitally signed, and can't show the driver's name(that is, the name is empty). Why? What can I do in order to display the driver's name instead of blank?

    Best regards,
