Hi, I have recently encountered an issue testing my video streaming system (WMS9 w/ win2003). Some of my test users (30% of them) have been complaining that the video is constantly re-buffering, there are however some that do not experience any issue whatsoever. I checked the log files and the CPU and memory utilization levels were all below 20%, my bandwith usage was approaching 25% of my maximum. So I have all but eliminated those as issues. I have gone through and troubleshooted (if that is a word) with the users that are experiencing the issues. There is nothing different between their settings and the settings of the systems that ran without a hitch. I have read that it may be a port issue where, if the users don't have access to 554 or 1755, the connection is forced through 80 (or 8080) causing an overflow/bottleneck with all other web bandwidth being used on the network. My problem with that theory is that some of the users experiencing issues have successfully viewed the live streaming in the past. Are there any other known issues or might there be something that I am missing that may have caused this?
