Will the US version of the Xbox Media Extender Kit work on a PAL Xbox.

    Hi All,

    Does anyone know if this will work on a PAL Xbox i.e. is it region locked?

    I live in Australia and there's been no info about it here.

    AIUI, it will work yes: there are no "region locks" on software; however,
    the dongle locks the DVD drive to Region 1 DVDs only.

    I'm not an expert, nor do I speak from first hand experience, so it may be
    better to get this confirmed in a PAL xbox group, such as
    uk.games.video.xbox
