Not sure which is the most appropriate NG but here goes....

I have MSN Explorer 9.0 (w/ MSIE 6.0) along with MSN Messenger 7.0 running
on WinXP (SP2) Home edition. I also have Outlook Express 6.0. When I launch
OE6 it launches Windows Messenger 4.7 which conflicts with MSN Messenger
7.0. I get messages saying that Messenger is signed on another computer and
    to re-sign in

Is there any way of resolving the conflict?

    Thanks

    Jonathan

Yes, this kept Win Messenger from being launched by OE6 and appearing in
the system tray but I found I needed to turn it off using MSCONFIG also. It
was running in the background with each reboot.

Thanks to all for your help
