    Hi all!
    I've a very big troubles... I've a lan with a win 2k3 sbs standard
server, about 20 clients, a lot of lan printer ecc...
That server have active directory, exchange server, iis, fax and other
    sbs service active.

Now my boss buied another server... with Win2k3 SBS Premium!
I know that windows 2k3 sbs dont't allow to have another sbs server
(there is no way?) I think to downgrade the windows 2k3 sbs standard to
windws 2k3 server without sbs, but i need to transfer all informations,
settings, users and all other sbs infos that are in the old server...
    How can I do?

Thank's for all and sorry for my bad english

  3. Hello Customer,

    Thank you for posting here.

From your post, I understand that you would like to do a migration from
existing SBS 2003 server to a new SBS 2003 server.

You may refer to following article to do this:

Migrating from Small Business Server 2000 or Windows 2000 Server to Windows
    Small Business Server 2003
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=fa187d1e-8218-4501-
    9729-222bd8ebb64c&displaylang=en

NOTE: It also applies to SBS 2003 to SBS 2003 scenario.

Shashank has also provided info on the Swing Method - a third party
solution that is not supported by Microsoft.

If you have any concern, please feel free to let me know.

    Best regards,

  6. Hello Customer,

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand that the second CD of SBS 2003 OEM was scratched.

I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience that you are experiencing.

I do want to help you get the new CD. However, please understand that
according to the contract between Microsoft and the OEMs, the CD of OEM
version should be provided by the OEMs. Since OEMs may customize the
software, Microsoft cannot provide CD since it may cause further problems.

For your problem, I believe IBM should provide you the replacement CD.

I apologize for the inconvenience that may cause.

If you have any concern, please feel free to let me know.

    Best regards,
